Description:
An increasingly more common occurrence, multiple users have faced unexplained blocks or temporary suspensions of their Instagram account.
Solution:
One of the less obvious reasons for users getting their accounts blocked or suspended is spending too much time on the platform, specifically engaging with other users or accounts. Even though it’s a large and open social network, it too has its own built-in parameters by which they judge user engagement.
If a user goes over these predetermined numbers, it can result in a suspension:
- Maximum number of likes per hour: 60;
- Maximum number of comments per hour: 60;
- Maximum number of follows per hour: 60;
- Maximum number of messages per hour: 60.
If your account is reasonably new, the limits differ:
- Maximum number of likes per hour: 30;
- Maximum number of comments per hour: 30;
- Maximum number of follows/unfollows per hour: 30.
